About us

The Oregon Pioneer PAC will provide the support to develop a new generation of leaders throughout Oregon.

We will emphasize the four principles of the Pioneer Compact: guaranteed opportunity, a safe environment, protection of our basic rights, and promotion of the future, provision in the present.

We are focused on finding, training, and electing leaders - at the county, city, and special district level at the local level.

Join us!

Mechanics:

The Oregon Pioneer PAC will fulfill all relevant election laws.  The board of directors (executive committee) will be elected every two years; there will be annual audits, and membership will gather at least once per calendar year.  All funds raised will be used solely for direct action at the local elections level.

Board of Directors (BOD): The board of directors will include at least the following officers: a chair, a vice-chair, a recorder/secretary, a parliamentarian, and a special projects coordinator. The board will establish general governance procedures.

  • All board meetings will be hand recorded and made available to members upon request.

  • Board policies for election, responsibilities of office, and administrative necessity can be reviewed by a 2/3 vote of the membership.

  • All members in good standing can be nominated for service on the board of directors (3 year terms).
